Pre Construction Process
A preliminary constructability
review should be conducted to ensure that project can be put
out to bid and constructed with a minimum of Addendums and RFIs due
to existing constrains, conflicting conditions, and errors‐
omissions in the construction documents, and to ensure
that the project can be built using the industry accepted means and
methods as designed, within the specified timeframe, with the
specified quality and with safe work practice.
Comparing the intended design to actual project.
- is the project constructable as designed
- is the expected duration feasible
- is the project constructable within the intended budget
